CYCLE RIDE

Bring your family and friends along to our inaugural cycle ride on Sunday 29 th May. We intend to cycle from Hallhill, leaving at 12 o'clock to reach Whitesands by approx. 12:30pm. for a bring your own picnic. Walkers are planning to leave from the entrance to Dunbar Golf Club Road at 11:30am.

 

DUNBAR CIVIC WEEK 2005

Sunday 19 th JUNE: come and have a game of petanque and a glass of wine at the crowning ceremony at Hallhill from 2pm onwards.

CHEESE AND WINE EVENING

Tuesday 21 st . JUNE.

We are having a CHEESE AND WINE EVENING in the Dunbar Day Centre at 7:30pm. Please come along and bring your friends and neighbours!

Cost £2.50. We will be showing the CD commemorating the first 10 years of our twinning agreement with Lignieres which has been compiled by Hilda Laurenson.

CIVIC WEEK QUIZ NIGHT.

Thursday 23 rd June in the British Legion at 7:30pm. Come and join our team for this enjoyable event. It would be great to get enough people along to have and A and B team. The bar is always open if Dutch courage is required!

RNLI FETE

Saturday 9 th July.

Are you free to come down to the harbour and help run this stall in support of the RNLI? If you can't spare all afternoon then please pop down for a glass of wine and some cheese and French bread.

14 th JULY: Bastille Day Celebration: 14 th JULY: Hallhill. 7pm.

Sunday 14 th AUGUST: BBQ at Hallhill from 12 onwards. Bring your own food and drinks. Friends welcome.

30 th SEPTEMBER: M. Hulot's Holiday at Dunbar Film club at Hallhill. 7:45pm. First come, first served. £4 guest tickets.

LANGUAGE RESOURCES.

We are attempting to build up a collection of user friendly French language tuition tapes and CDROM. These are available to borrow free from Sandra Duguid, (864328). If anyone has educational resources they would be willing to donate Sandra would be pleased to hear from you.
